Deer Hunter Shooting Is Now Being Considered A Homicide

That was Terry Brisk’s mother asking for someone who may have information on her son’s death to come forward. Terry Brisk was shot and killed last month while he was hunting on his family land near an intersection of Hawthorne and Jewel Road.

Initially investigators could not say if the incident was an accident or a murder. Now they have come forward and officially classified it as a homicide.

The incident has been especially hard on Brisk family where he left behind a wife and four kids.

Although, the family has received a vast amount of support from the community Brisk mother said she will not have peace until her son’s murderer is found.

The family is offering a 20,000-dollar reward for any information that leads to the identification of the killer.

The missing weapon is described as a Winchester Model AE 30-30 lever action rifle – it is described as an older model with a wooden stock and forearm and no sling. Officials say at this point, it has not been recovered. Anyone with information on the fatal shooting is asked to contact the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office at 320-632-9233.
