Cuyuna Lakes Mountain Bike Crew Unveils Master Plan for Possible Future Trails

After three year of planning the Cuyuna Lakes Mountain Bike Crew finally unveiled their master plan for future trail expansion. Although not all of the master plan may be implemented, the Cuyuna Crew is now excited to have an impressive mountain bike trail goal to work towards.
The master plan would expand the already 25 miles of bike trails to a bike trail system feature all one way traffic and would allow an experienced mountain biker three days worth of trail without repeating. And the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources says the Cuyuna Trails are a great way to see the region.
During a recent survey this summer almost 66% of responders said they hadn’t visited the area before the Cuyuna Bike Trials had opened.
The Cuyuna Crew says they plan to open their new rally point and campgrounds and start construction on 3.5 miles of new trails.
