Crow Wing County Sheriffs Department Launch New Crime Fighting App

Thanks to a new smart phone application it is now easier than ever for residents to fight crime from their fingertips. The free application is called Tip CW and it allows the Crow Wing County sheriff Department to have an anonymous two-way conversation with the tipster.

Having an active observant community is essential to fighting crime. The sheriffs department is hoping this new way of reporting offenses will encourage more people to voice their concerns without fear. The Crow Wing County Sheriffs Department believes it is important for them to find new and innovative ways to engage the public and reduce the crime rate. So far the department is satisfied with the results. The free app is available through Google play and iTunes app stores.
