Crow Wing County Fair Adds New Faces This Year

Rides, crafts, racing and food will be ready for business this week in Brainerd for the 131th Crow Wing County Fair. And this year the fair is adding a few new attractions to get more attendances in the curling rink venue.
One of the new attractions is the traveling art pub. They’ve been in Brainerd and travel to local restaurants, coffee shops and bar. But now, they’re making their first stop at the Crow Wing County Fair.
The other new attraction is the butterfly house. And the exhibitors say allowing people to interact with them first
hand will help save the monach butterflies who have seen their population drop from a billion to forty million.
The fair opens tomorrow with a parade at 1PM and opening ceremonies at 5:30PM.
