Crosslake Community School Accepts $25,000 Grant

The Crosslake School Board accepted a $25,000 grant at their October 10th meeting.

Bill Eckles, CEO of BEVCOMM, and new owner of Crosslake Communications, presented the grant to board chair Lisa Schumacer. Because BEVCOMM owns Crosslake Communications, they were able to sponsor the grant application, according to Pine and Lakes.

The Crosslake Community School is a K-12 public charter school with approximately 200 students, including online students, according to their website.

“This is a great opportunity for our school,” said Todd Lyscio, the director of Crosslake Community School.

Lyscio stated that the school is going to use the grant to  purchase a smart board, along with a few laptops and projectors for their classrooms.
