Construction on U.S. Bank Stadium Nearly Complete

The stadium that was originally slated to be finished on July 29 is now mostly complete. Stadium officials and the Minnesota Vikings announced Friday morning that the downtown Minneapolis stadium is almost complete nearly six weeks ahead of schedule.

Today, Mortenson Construction turned over the keys to the stadium to the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority and The Minnesota Vikings.

The official ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for July 22. During that weekend the stadium will also be introduced to the public through free open house events.
