Community Spotlight: March for Babies ’16

Hundreds of families came out Saturday to march against premature births and birth defects. Over 400 people attended this year’s March for Babies event in Bemidji to support one another and raise funds for research and support programs.

The annual event has had the biggest turnout yet. More than $20,000 were raised. The goal this year is to increase the funds allocated for research. The organization is also working to create more support groups for mothers.
