Community Spotlight: Law Enforcement Hosts 13th Annual Halloween Safety Event

It may have been a chilly rainy day but that didn’t stop the Crow Wing County trick-or-treaters from enjoying their Halloween night.

For most the candy was the highlight of the night but for others it was all about making memories.

The Costumes were creative this year with many of them adding personal touches.

The first stop for many of the trick-or-treaters was the Brainerd Police Halloween Safety Event. For many of the Law Enforcement officers this is one of their favorite events of the year.

The officers gave out candy and tips for trick-or-treaters and their families.

Although, later this evening hundreds of kids will be enjoying their hard earned candy the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Department warns that not everything should be eaten.

Law enforcement plans to patrol through out the night.
