Community Spotlight: Fall Colors Wagon Ride

Today marks the official start of the Autumn season, and people in Bemidji are taking in all of Fall’s colors in a more traditional way. Each year, families flock to Buena Vista for the annual Fall Colors Wagon Rides and Festival. The festival started in the late 90’s as a way to share some of Buena Vista’s family traditions with the rest of the world. Now, the festival attracts hundreds for its famous wagon rides and traditional blacksmithing demonstrations. Event organizers say over 400 people come each year on their wagon rides to leave behind their modern lives and have some old-fashioned fun.
