Community Spotlight – Cold Hands, Warm heARTS

For the first time, local artists gathered at the Northland Arboretum in Brainerd to showcase their work in the Arboretum’s “Cold Hands, Warm heARTS” event. The event was meant to kick start the New Year as well as bring local artists together to help support the community in which they live.

The event featured five artists, and they say giving back to the community is very important to them. The show also started a new artist’s tenure in the Arboretum‘s art gallery, which features works focused on the outdoors by Minnesota artists.

They hope the success in the winter months will translate to the summer, even if it means a name change.
