Community Spotlight: BIR Performance Driving School

Nestled away in the heart of Brainerd International Raceway is a school… a driving school. The school began 24 years ago, and now teaches everyone from beginners to experts. The class allows the students to learn in a classroom setting and behind the wheel, all while being closely monitored by instructors. And whether it’s their first, tenth, or one-hundredth time, Curtis and the racers say they keep coming back because they’ve been bitten by the racing bug. The Performance Driving School is almost done for the year, with their last class on October 5^th. But they will re-open for year 25 next May.
