Common Ground: Portrait Workshop and Fiddle Camp

The Headwaters School of Music and the Arts in Bemidji provides diverse arts education opportunities for students of all ages.

Common Ground dedicates two segments to the happenings at Bemidji’s unique arts education treasure, the Headwaters School of Music and the Arts. First, visit the school and attend a Youth Fiddle Camp where students who normally use their violins for classical music learn to play the instrument as a fiddle for folk and bluegrass genres. Then, look on as adult artists attend on a three day, watercolor and portrait workshop, led by internationally renowned artist Cindy Agan.
