CLC Students Create Petition to Protest the Cut of Their Photography Program

That was second year student Matthew Breiter describing the meeting where he found out that his Photo Imaging Technology program at CLC was going to be cut. Central Lakes College announced the decision last week.

This was the first year it was on the campus in Brainerd, originally the program was on the Staples campus. Students feel that they were not given a fair chance and one year is not enough.

The Students in the program have taken it upon themselves to make sure their voices are heard by starting a petition to save their program.

They believe that their program contributes to the CLC campus in ways that other programs cannot.

The petition will be available on Tuesday and Thursday and they are hoping to present the signatures to the president in a meeting next week.
