CLC Class Helps Search For Marc Welzant

Marc Welzant was last seen on October 26th leaving a Holiday gas station in Brainerd. The 47-year-old had been living in a group home for his special needs. Today Central Lakes College General Evidence class helped the family search two location along the Mississippi River.

The students looked at the maps and chose to search in two areas Bell Rae Park and Southeast 19th Street because both of them hadn’t been search yet. During their search they walked in a line searching in the water, through the brush and in drains for any clues.

Marc’s family joined the search at both locations. They say they’re hoping to find some answers to what might have happened to their brother.

Marc’s family says if they don’t find any clues they’re going to continue their search in the Mississippi River on April 25th.
