Classes at Bemidji Schools Back in Session

After a year filled with distance and hybrid learning, it was back to school for Bemidji on Tuesday.

Last year was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, which saw the district combine distance learning with hybrid learning and limited in-person classes. It made yesterday’s return to normalcy an exciting day for everyone involved.

Superintendent Tim Lutz says Bemidji Area Schools has requested from the Minnesota Department of Education the right to go back to hybrid or distance learning if there is a spike in cases among students.
