City of Bemidji Special Archery Hunt

Two special white-tailed deer archery hunts will take place within the City of Bemidji beginning September 17th through December 31st during the regular Minnesota deer archery season.

One of the locations hunt locations is at the Bemidji Regional Airport where the hunt will take place outside the airports fenced in area. Hunting will be allowed with a city permit and only 25 permits will be issued.

The other special hunt will take place in designated areas situated in the northeast section of Bemidji on private and public property.

Depending on the number of applications received for both locations, a lottery drawing may be held in order to determine which applicants will receive a permit.

Since these are both special hunts, the State will allow participants to harvest up to five deer. Hunt participants are responsible for purchasing the appropriate State Hunting Licenses and permits to participate in the hunt.
