Chief Bemidji Statue Unveiled

Years of planning went into the creation of a statue and plaques honoring Shaynowishkung, or “the one who rattles”. Chief Bemidji lived in a time of hardship, and both natives and non-natives are healing to this day. The unveiling brought communities together in the hope of a better future.
