Chamber of Commerce Starts A New Campaign

Over two hundred business owners and members of the chamber of commerce from five different regions came to the Northern Pacific Center in Brainerd to launch a new campaign called “Lakes Proud”.

The campaign motto is shop, buy, and support and it encourages consumers to buy local. Buying local not only creates more revenue for the city but it also instills pride in the local community.

The chamber is asking consumers to make a small pledge online that will later have a big impact on the community.

The chambers is hoping that this new campaign will make a significant difference in the community and in how consumers do their shopping.
