Central Minnesota Community Corrections Meets with Crow Wing County Board


The Central Minnesota Community Corrections or CMCC in Brainerd is a partnership that provides probation and supervised release services. Right now they are concerned for the future of their department. Since April, Crow Wing County has been studying the pros and cons of leaving CMCC and integrating probation services with Crow Wing County Community Services. Today they met with the board to give their recommendation on how the matter should be handled.

While at the meeting members of the CMCC were able to discuss how there services work and what they contribute to the community.

Both Sides agree that public input is one of the most important steps in the process and they are hoping It will make it a slightly easier to make the final decision.
