Central Lake College Back to School Concert

The Poetry organization called “Verse Like Water” at Central Lakes College decided to switch things up this year by putting on a back to school concert for all ages. They had an impressive line up of professional artist that serenaded the campus with music. The concert was no ordinary concert the purpose of the event was to evoke the spirit of past poets.

CLC had something for everyone with a college concert during the morning and a children’s concert in the afternoon. One of the organizations goals is to start the love of poetry at an early age. So directly after the morning concert they held an afternoon concert exclusively for kids. Kids and parents from all over the city enjoyed an afternoon of fun, laughter, and music. This event definitely started students on the right path as students gear up for another school year.
