Candidates Speak At The Brainerd/Baxter Candidate Forum

Candidates for the Brainerd and Baxter City Council and mayoral positions opened up about why voters should consider them for the positions. This year there are 2 candidates running for the Brainerd mayor seat one of which is the current mayor Ed Menk. Each Candidate talked about their qualifications for the role of mayor.

Both candidates agree that there is work to be done to improve the city of Brainerd.

However, they both believe that Brainerd has a bright future.

The elected candidate for mayor will have to work closely with the city council and the local business community.

The 2016 General Election will be held on Tuesday November 8^th.
