Camp Ripley Looks Forward To An Energy Efficient Future

Camp Ripley’s energy efficiency and renewable energy project is one of a kind.

The project is a partnership between Camp Ripley and Minnesota Power and has been in the works for almost three years. The project serves several different purposes for the base.

The solar field is located on the base atop 62 acres of land and produces energy equivalent of 200,00 homes.

The construction of the solar field project is 75% complete.
