BSU Women’s Hockey to Host U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Museum Face-Off Classic in Grand Rapids

For the second year in a row, Bemidji State women’s hockey will be playing in the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Museum Face-Off Classic. But this time, they will be hosting the game on January 31, 2026 at Yanmar Arena in Grand Rapids, where they will play rival Minnesota State.

Last season, BSU played Minnesota in the annual showcase game that raises awareness for U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame and women’s college hockey.

The game will also be an opportunity for the hometown crowd to see their 2025 Ms. Hockey and former Grand Rapids-Greenway star Mercury Bischoff, who is entering her freshman year with the Mavericks.

The Beavs will also be playing an exhibition match this weekend versus the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers at the Essentia Health Sports Center in Brainerd, where the Brainerd High School Warriors play their home hockey games.
