Bemidji State University held an alcohol summit today to address recent alcohol abuse issues among students. In December, 20-year-old Sandra Lommen died of hypothermia after leaving a house party, and more recently Hannah Rolschau was found unconscious in the snow after leaving a party, as well. The summit addressed alcohol abuse issues and offered an open forum discussion for students, faculty, and staff to move forward and help prevent alcohol-related incidents from happening in the future.
