Browerville/Eagle Valley Tigers State Bound

After winning the Class A Section Football Conference Championship, there’s still more football to be played for the Browerville/ Eagle Valley Tigers.

Despite this crummy weather, football season i isn’t quite over for the Browerville/Eagle Valley football team who secured a spot in the state tournament.

And now it feels as is there is a sigh of relief for this team, sitting 10 and 0 on this season, and a 35-12 conference win last weekend against Walker-Hackensack Akeley.

But they have a tough matchup ahead of them against the defending state champions of Minneota.

To be perfect in this game means winning the turnover margin and keeping the penalties low.

Bouncing back from a 6-3 season last year, and not seeing state tournament action sine their freshman year, the 17 seniors already feel they’ve accomplished a lot this season.

They can only hope to continue to see the action on the field and sing once more in their locker room.
