Browerville/Eagle Valley Girls Basketball Preview

Unfinished business; that’s what head coach Matt Middendorf of the Browerville/Eagle Valley girls basketball team is calling last seasons performance. Coming from a squad with back to back state tournament appearances and a 28 to 2 finish last season, Middendorf knows the capabilities this team has to take it that one step further.

Looking back at last years squad the bench is a little empty for the Browerville/Eagle Valley girls basketball team.

They may not have the extra help this year, but they have a strong bond playing together for many years.

Their tournament run was cut short by a close loss to Minneota who has left a bad taste in their mouth.

Although a three-peat appearance at the state tournament is in the back of their minds, that’s not their main focus on the season.

Coach believes this team has the ability to separate themselves from other teams in the state, as well as the teams that have come and gone through their high school.
