Bridges Job Train Helps High School Students Find First Job

Signs were posted on the lockers, walls, and even the floors of Brainerd High School to promote Jobs Train a feature of the Career Depot web portal.

The program is also integrated into the curriculum with the Career Academies feature. It focuses on teaching students the skills needed to meet the demands of local employers, but now is reaching beyond the classroom.

It’s an effort to help student land that first job and give them a sense of direction based on their interests.

And the opportunity for businesses to mold and mentor student workers to become successful employees.
