Brainerd Homecoming festivities are in full swing. The fun continues through what is traditionally “church night” on Wednesday. The Brainerd Area Youth for Christ turn “church night” into a party at their rally in Brainerd.

The rally begins with stand-up by comedian Joe Kessler and continues with live music, thought-provoking videos, and cheering crowds. Kessler turns from comedy to a serious message, encouraging people to leave their “comfort bubbles” and try something new.

The event gathers about 900 students from several schools besides Brainerd. Aitkin, Pillager, Little Falls, Crosby-Ironton, Pequot Lakes, Staples-Motley, and home-schooled students assemble for the rally.
