Brainerd Softball Hopes to Swing Past Section Play


With the spring weather finally moving in, the Brainerd girls softball team is itching kick off the 2016 season. Coming from the team that went 16-8 last year. adding a brand new coach, and a new lineup, the roster this year sits senior heavy with an experienced infield.

Even with the loss in the section championship, making it that far was special to the team with many new faces playing varsity for the first time. Only practicing outside for the second time this season, the team is starting to see where their strengths could lie. And coach Jordan sees just how well this group of girls works together.
