Brainerd School Board is Re-elected

Three of Brainerd’s School Board’s six directors were up for re-election last week. All three were voted to return to their posts on the school board.
Board Chair Ruth Nelson and school board directors Tom Haglin and Chris Robinson will stay on the Brainerd School Board who during their last term were able to hire a new superintendent, build Brainerd High School a new football field and saw all six of their elementary schools be awarded National Blue Ribbon status.
The school today quickly got back to work planning the educational future of Brainerd School District.
Chair Nelson says she’s happy all three were re-elected to keep continuity on the school board. She says this year the district also hired a new director of teaching and learning, principal and community education director along with the new superintendent.
