Brainerd School Board in Talks for Future Operating Levy Referendum

The Brainerd School Board is discussing adding an operating levy option on the ballot for public voters as early as November 2025.

The district is facing a deficit of nearly $3,000,000 for the 2024-25 school year, forcing its hand regarding major budgeting decisions.

Levy talks will now go to the school board’s finance committee.
