Brainerd Police Continue Search For Dog Who Bit A Woman

It happened here in Lum Park last week when the 41-year-old woman told police she was walking her dog when another dog not on a leash lunged at her dog. Police say the woman was bit twice protecting her dog. And after the attack the man fled with his dog.

Galligan says she missed a week of work and still hasn’t been able to get back to regular hours. She and local authorities say they need to find the man and his dog to hold them accountable and make sure the dog doesn’t do this again.

Sailer say Brainerd’s Kiwanis Park has a dog park if owners want to let their dogs run free in a safe setting. Otherwise they must be on a leash at other Brainerd parks.
