Brainerd Man Drives Into Hay Bales

A Brainerd man was injured after the minivan he was driving struck a large hay bale.

According to the Brainerd Dispatch, Gene Lafavor was driving down Crow Wing County Highway 3 northeast of Brainerd, Sunday around 9 P-M, when the minivan he was driving struck a hay bale that was in the middle of the roadway.

Passenger Sheryl Lafavor, 68, of Brainerd, was not injured. The driver Gene Lafavor, of Brainerd, according to the Brainerd Dispatch, sustained injuries and was taken to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd.
