Brainerd Man Dies in 1-Vehicle Crash in Crow Wing County

A 56-year-old Brainerd man has died in a one-vehicle crash in Crow Wing County on Friday.

The Minnesota State Patrol says William James Gardner was driving a car westbound on Highway 18 in Oak Lawn Township when the car left the roadway and struck a tree. The crash happened east of County Road 144.

The State Patrol says alcohol was not involved in the crash and that Gardner was wearing his seat belt.
