Technology allows people to accomplish new feats, but it also presents new challenges. The Brainerd Public Library will soon make ten I-pads available for the public to increase their digital literacy. Along with helping people gain familiarity with the device, the tablets will relieve some of the congestion on the library’s computers. The I-pads will become available for use in September. The library will offer I-pad classes at that time. The Library paid for the I-pads with a digital literacy grant from the Otto Bremer Foundation.
