Brainerd Lakes Area Tourism Continues in Wake of Fierce Storm

Parts of the Brainerd Lakes Area, especially at the southern end of Gull Lake, still look like a disaster zone. However for most parts of the Brainerd Lakes Area tourists are out and shops are open.

For those who were displaced by Sunday’s storm, the Brainerd Lakes and Nisswa Chambers of Commerce have teamed up to help vacationers in the lakes area find an alternative locations to continue their stay in the Brainerd Lakes Area. And Breezy Point Resort is one of those locations that wasn’t hit very hard by the storm.

Shop and resort owners say they’ve been impressed with how well everyone has pulled together to keep as many tourists happy with their stay.
