Brainerd Girls’ Soccer Drops Season Opener to Visiting Rogers

Brainerd girls’ soccer hosted Rogers to kick off their season on Thursday. The Royals won last year’s matchup 5-0.

The Warriors trailed 3-0 at the break. In the second half, Brainerd was finally able to break through with a goal from Macy Castle in the 47th minute. But in the end it was not their day, as they dropped the season opener to Rogers 6-1.
