Brainerd Girls’ Basketball State-Bound for 1st Time Since 1997

28 years – that’s how long it has been since Brainerd girls’ basketball made a visit to the state tournament. But thanks to a 70-54 victory against top-seeded St. Michael-Albertville in the Section 8AAAA championship, that will change when the Warriors take the court this Wednesday at Williams Arena to face Lakeville North.
