Brainerd Fire and Police Departments Set to Play in Softball Game

Brainerd Community Action will be hosting a softball game at Stewart C. Mills Field on August 22nd, which will be between the Brainerd Fire and Police Departments.

The game will not be like any ordinary softball game. Inspiration from the exhibition baseball team, Savannah Bananas, will have influence on the event, bringing an interactive atmosphere for the audience.

Brainerd Community Action is coordinating this event not only to help the public meet its first responders, but get more use out of one of Brainerd’s finest facilities.

The event will cost $5 for adults over 18 to attend. Children under 18 will receive free admission. First pitch will be at 6 p.m.
