Brainerd Cross Country Opens Season with Annual ‘Run for the Melon’

On Friday, Brainerd cross country opened their season hosting their annual Run for the Melon meet.

The Brainerd boys took first place as a team, with Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin taking third and Pequot Lakes coming in fifth. On the girls’ side, Brainerd came in third, G/N-K in fourth, and Pillager in sixth place.
