Brainerd Community Thanksgiving

The smell of Thanksgiving dinner brought numerous residents in the Brainerd area, to the annual Thanksgiving Community Dinner. The Brainerd American Legion, VFW, and Elks and Eagles Clubs co-hosted the holiday dinner, to provide a meal for residents who may be spending the holidays alone or those who are shut-in. Our Chelsea Brown was there earlier and has more.

At last year’s community Thanksgiving Dinner, over 400 meals were prepared to serve residents in the Brainerd area.

With such packed house, the volunteers stayed busy serving all the traditional Thanksgiving fixens which was open to everyone in the community.

Clough appreciates helping out her community as well as bringing members together.

The most important things was to just enjoy the holiday.
