Brainerd Boys’ Basketball Preview

Young. That’s the best way to describe the Brainerd Varsity Boys’ Basketball team. The team features 11 juniors, compared to 4 seniors and 2 sophomores. But what the team lacks in experience, they make up for in hard work and effort, and they know they’re going to have to play like that the entire season.

Despite being a young team lacking varsity experience, the expectations are still high, and they hope to continue growing as a team. They started this year’s campaign 2-3 and they know the road ahead may be a little rocky, but as long as they stay on the path, come the end of the season they think they’ll surprise a few people.
