In October, Brainerd’s tennis courts and track were cracked and holding water. The football field was an absolute mess. Now, it is a site to behold. The project took a long time to reach this point because of the complete reconstruction of the drainage and irrigation systems. The crew dug four feet under the tennis courts, track, and field, and actually had to move the pond. The renovation will help the students and the community. Instead of trying to keep people off the football field, the school can invite the community to hold events on it. Despite battling large amounts of rain early in the renovation, the project remains on schedule to finish in mid August.
