Blue Ox Marathon Returns to Bemidji

The Bemidji Blue Ox Marathon is back and better than before. The second annual marathon is returning to the shores of Lake Bemidji on Saturday, but the festivities kicked off today with a kids run, 5K, and health expo. This year’s race is bringing thousands of runners and spectators to Bemidji. Those who are running the full 26.2 miles will get a broad view of the city. The course starts at the Sanford Center and then passes through popular downtown spots like the Paul and Babe statue. Event organizers hope to see the crowd cheering on runners as they accomplish those goals at the races tomorrow.
