Blackduck Baseball Brings Experienced Group Into 2019

The Blackduck baseball team had a successful year in 2018, finishing 15-5 and sharing the Northland Conference title. The Drakes return all but two players from last year’s team and will use their experience to their advantage.

The entire pitching staff returns from last year’s team, including Ian Frenzel, the reigning conference pitcher of the year, who will be supported by a multitude of talented arms.

No matter who is on the mound, they’ll be supported by a defense filled with athletic players ready to clean up any mistakes.

The Drakes hit .367 as a team last year and will look for quality at-bats to rack up the runs throughout the season.
