BSU head coach Jeff Tesch highlighted a few stand-outs in a press conference, this afternoon. Outside linebacker Grant Bushinski from Cornelius, North Carolina was named the 2013 North Carolina Defensive Player of the year. He ranked 10th in sacks in the country in 2014.

Six running backs will also join the Beavers. Last season, injuries thinned the BSU backfield. One exciting recruit, Gena Adams, transfers from Simon Fraser University.
