Accused Bemidji Stabber Charged

A Bemidji woman has been charged in connection with a recent Bemidji stabbing.

Christina Lindbom-Pond, 25, was arrested around 2 A-M on Friday, in connection to the stabbing. She was charged with second-degree assault on Saturday.

According to a criminal complaint, officers were called to the 900 block of 26th Street Northwest, after a witness reported that an adult female had been stabbed. Upon arrival, officers found the victim outside in a chair, holding her side with a cloth, which was covering a 1-inch puncture wound.

A witness named Lindbom-Pond as the stabber. The victim confirmed that Lindbom-Pond had stabbed her, according to the Bemidji Pioneer.

Lindbom-Pond is expected to appear in court on at the Beltrami County Courthouse on Monday.
