The 2015 Bemidji Lumberjacks will have a whole new look. That might not be a bad thing one year after the Jacks’ lone losing season of the last decade. Bemidji graduated six seniors last season. The current Lumberjacks have been competing against each other all preseason to win the open jobs.

The coaching staff faces the tough challenge of plugging the players into the proper positions. Coach Brad Takkunen says he will primarily look for the best gloves rather than bats. He wants a sound defense to back up whoever takes the circle for the Lumberjacks.
