Bemidji Sculpture Walk Set To Update

Officials are setting up a round of updates to Bemidji’s sculpture walk.

More than 20 pieces of art will be switched out for newer concepts. As part of a recent move by the event’s board of directors, they’ll come from both local and national artists.

Tourists will be able to find a map at Bemidji’s tourist information desk. They can use it to go on a treasure hunt of sorts for all of the new art in town.

Several awards will be handed out for the best art. A $1,000 people’s choice award will go to a single winner after the completion of an online poll. In addition, first and second place critic’s choice honors will be named.
