Bemidji Schools Superintendent To Deliver NTC Commencement Address

The superintendent of Bemidji Area Schools, Tim Lutz, will deliver the 2019 commencement address for Northwest Technical College.

According to a release, Lutz will address graduates at the college’s annual commencement ceremony which is scheduled for May 10 at the Sanford Center in Bemidji.

Lutz started his educational career as a high school English teacher and school counselor, before transitioning into K-12 administration and leadership positions. Currently, the superintendent of Bemidji Area Schools, Lutz previously served as the principal and superintendent at Kelliher Public Schools. He earned a master’s degree in curriculum and assessment from Bemidji State University and a specialist degree in administrative leadership from Minnesota State University, Moorhead.

The commencement ceremony will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10 and is free and open to the public.
